Terms of Service
Effective September 13, 2026
These terms are an agreement between Just Use Flint LLC, the company behind Ringfield (“Ringfield,” “we,” “us”), and the business that creates a Ringfield account (“you”). By creating an account, signing in, or using the service, you accept them on behalf of your business. If you do not agree, do not use Ringfield. How we handle information is covered separately in our Privacy Policy, which is part of this agreement.
The short version
- Ringfield texts the callers you miss, on your behalf, and hands you a callback list. You stay the business they are dealing with.
- You keep your phone number. You forward only the calls you miss, and you can turn that off any time.
- You are responsible for how you treat the people who contact you. We handle STOP and HELP automatically and never text anyone who opted out.
- Plans are monthly, measured in leads handled. The trial is free, and your card is not charged until your texting is live.
- Rosa's replies and the app's job estimates help you decide. They are not promises to your customers and not quotes.
1. What Ringfield is
Ringfield is a service for trades businesses. When you cannot answer a call, the call reaches a voicemail greeting on a Ringfield number, and your assistant, Rosa, texts the caller back to gather the details of the job: name, address, problem, urgency, and photos. The Ringfield app shows you those leads in a queue sorted by urgency and likely value, lets you take over any text conversation yourself, add leads by hand, book jobs onto a calendar, and see how much work you captured. Some plans may add features such as quotes and invoices as we release them.
Ringfield works through conditional call forwarding: your carrier sends a call to your Ringfield number only when you do not answer, are on another call, or are unreachable. Your own number stays on your truck, your signs, and your listings.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- Ringfield is for businesses. You must be at least 18 and authorized to bind the business you sign up for.
- We sign you in with a one-time code sent to your mobile number. Keep your phone and the app secure; everything done from your signed-in device is treated as done by you.
- The information you give us about your business, including the legal name, address, and contact details used to register your texting with carriers, must be accurate and kept current.
- One account is for one business. Contact us if you run more than one.
3. Your responsibilities
Rosa texts your callers as your business. That makes you the sender of those messages in the eyes of the law and the carriers, with Ringfield acting as your service provider. You agree that:
- You will use Ringfield only to respond to people who have contacted your business, and only about their service request. Ringfield is not for marketing blasts, cold outreach, or texting numbers that did not call you.
- You will comply with the laws that apply to your business and to texting your customers, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, state telemarketing and privacy laws, and carrier and industry messaging rules.
- You will honor opt-outs. Ringfield handles STOP and HELP keywords automatically and will not send further texts to a number that opted out. Do not try to reach an opted-out number through Ringfield by other means.
- You will keep your voicemail greeting truthful and professional, and you will not record calls through Ringfield. Voicemail is the only recording the service makes.
- You have the right to forward the phone number you connect, and any charges your carrier applies to forwarding are yours.
- When you take over a conversation and text a caller yourself, you are responsible for what you send.
- You will not use Ringfield for anything unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or harmful, and you will not send content that infringes someone else's rights.
4. Texting registration and delivery
Business texting in the United States runs on carrier registration programs. Until your business has its own registration, your texts go out under Ringfield’s registration and are signed as Rosa “with Ringfield.” Some plans register your business in its own name, after which texts are signed as your business. Registration needs accurate business details from you, is reviewed by third parties we do not control, and can be delayed or declined for reasons outside our hands.
Carriers filter and sometimes block messages, and mobile networks are not always available. We work to keep deliverability high and we monitor for problems, but we do not guarantee that any particular text will be delivered, delivered on time, or read.
5. Rosa and automated replies
- Rosa's replies are drafted by software, including a language model provider, under rules Ringfield maintains. Every message is shown to you in the app, and you can take over any conversation with one tap.
- Rosa is told never to state or estimate prices, promise arrival times, diagnose a problem, or make offers, and the service checks her replies for that before sending. If a caller asks whether they are talking to a person, Rosa says she is your virtual assistant.
- Software can misunderstand. Nothing Rosa writes is a quote, a contract, or a promise on your behalf, and you should confirm details with the caller before you commit to anything.
- When a caller describes a danger such as a gas smell, Rosa sends a short safety line and the service alerts you. Ringfield is not an emergency service and does not contact 911 or any emergency responder. Callers in danger should call 911.
6. Estimates, values, and analytics
The app shows a likely dollar range for each lead, along with totals and charts built from those ranges. They start from typical values for your trade and the hourly rate and trip charge you enter, and they get sharper as you record what jobs actually came to. They are planning aids for you alone: they are never shown to callers, they are not quotes, and we do not guarantee that any job will be worth what the app suggests.
7. Plans, trials, and billing
- Trial. New accounts get a 14-day free trial that begins when you verify call forwarding with the test call in the app. We ask for a card up front and charge nothing until the trial ends. Texting under Ringfield’s carrier registration is live as soon as forwarding is verified, so you are never paying for a service that cannot text. We will remind you before the first charge.
- Subscriptions renew automatically. Your subscription renews automatically every month, at the plan price shown at checkout plus any applicable taxes, until you cancel. You can cancel any time as described in section 8. Plans are billed monthly in advance, in US dollars.
- Usage. Plans include a number of leads handled per month. A lead counts when a missed call becomes a new lead that Rosa texts back. Spam calls we filter do not count. If you go past your plan’s limit in a month, we will tell you and may ask you to upgrade. We will not stop texting your callers without notice.
- Founding 100. The founding price is locked for as long as your subscription stays continuously active. It ends if you cancel, and it does not transfer to another business.
- Changes. We may change prices or plan limits with at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the app. The change applies at your next billing date after the notice.
- Failed payments. If a charge fails, we retry and let you know. If it keeps failing, we may pause texting on your account until it is paid.
8. Cancellation and refunds
- You can cancel any time by emailing us at support@ringfield.app, and we will confirm within one business day. Your service continues until the end of the period you have paid for, then stops. We do not prorate or refund partial months.
- When your account ends, Ringfield stops answering your forwarded calls. To get your calls back the way they were, turn off conditional forwarding with your carrier. We will send you the code for your carrier when you cancel.
- If your plan included a hosted company website, it is taken down when the plan ends.
- You can ask us for a copy of your leads and conversations within 30 days after cancelling and we will provide it by email. After that, we delete your account data as described in the Privacy Policy, except for records we must keep such as opt-out and billing records.
- We may suspend or end your account if you break these terms, if your use puts our carrier registrations or other customers at risk, or if a charge stays unpaid. Where we can, we will warn you first.
9. Your data and your callers’ data
- You own your business information, your leads, your notes, and the conversations with your callers. You give us the permission we need to store, process, transmit, and display that information to run the service for you.
- Information about your callers is handled under our Privacy Policy. You may use it only to serve those callers and as the law allows.
- We may use information that has been aggregated and stripped of anything identifying a person or a business to improve the service and to publish general statistics.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for any content you send through the service.
10. Our property
Ringfield, Rosa, the app, the website, and everything that makes them work belong to Just Use Flint LLC and its licensors. We give you a limited, non-transferable license to use the app and service for your business while your account is active. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service, or use it to build a competing product. If you send us suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.
11. Third-party services
Ringfield depends on services we do not control, including mobile carriers and messaging networks, Apple’s App Store and notification service, and our payment processor. Their availability and terms affect what we can deliver. Your use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs Apple’s role and obligations.
12. Changes to the service
We improve Ringfield often and may add, change, or retire features. If we remove something significant from a paid plan, we will tell you in advance. Short interruptions for maintenance and the occasional outage are part of running a service; we will work to keep them rare.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
RINGFIELD IS PROVIDED AS IS AND AS AVAILABLE. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error free, that every missed call will become a lead, that every text will be delivered, or that you will win any job. Ringfield is not an emergency service and not a substitute for answering your own phone when you can.
14. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, JUST USE FLINT LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST JOBS, LOST DATA, OR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD THEY WERE POSSIBLE. Our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
15. Your responsibility for claims
You will defend and cover Just Use Flint LLC against claims, fines, and costs, including reasonable attorney fees, that arise from your use of the service in breach of these terms, from the messages you send or instruct us to send, from your dealings with your customers, or from your violation of any law or of someone else’s rights. This does not cover claims caused by our own breach of these terms, by our violation of law, or by the content of messages Rosa wrote without your instruction.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict of law rules. If we have a dispute, we each agree to try to resolve it by contacting the other first and giving it 30 days before starting any legal proceeding. Any proceeding will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Indiana, and both of us consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in this section prevents either of us from seeking an injunction to protect intellectual property or confidential information.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we update the effective date at the top and, for changes that matter, notify you by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Ringfield after that date means you accept the new terms. If you do not, cancel before they take effect.
18. General
- These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the service and replace any earlier understanding.
- You may not assign this agreement without our written consent. We may assign it to a successor of our business.
- If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
- Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.
- Notices to you go to the email address or mobile number on your account. Notices to us go to the address below.
